Spessartine Garnet on Quartz, Broken Hill shaft, Black Mountain mine, Aggeneys, Northern Cape Province, South Africa.

The specimen has trapezohedral spessartine garnet crystal embedded in quartz. Deep wine red garnet crystals one to 1.1cm and smaller crystal to 0.6cm. The main large crystal appears to be in great condition with no major damage to note.
