Baryte Cluster

Baryte Cluster

Rosh Pinah Mine, Rosh Pinah, Oranjemund Constituency, ǁKaras Region, Namibia

Size: 7.1 x 7.6 x 4.7 cm (Small Cabinet)

The specimen is a cluster of light yellow tabular crystals of baryte arranged in an aligned spread coming off the matrix. Clusters have formed out of thin tabular crystals stacking sideways left and right but mostly upwards. The crystals of baryte reach up to 1.6cm and with a high lustre and pale yellow in colour. A very attractive specimen in my opinion.
