Baryte on Rhodochrosite

A good sized specimen here made up of baryte on rhodochrosite on a host matrix. The baryte is mostly concentrated on one side in small bladed crystals with a light brown yellow colour and not all the baryte are complete. The baryte is on rhodochrosite which is in a rhombic habit with intergrown crystals that also wrap around onto the back of the matrix where they have a much more brighter milky pink colour. The specimen is not perfect all around but still a lovely piece.
