A rather nice unusual botryoidal mass of Amethyst with a lovely sparkle which has a deposit of Calcite on the main display face too. Quartz from the Kalahari Manganese Field is not common and has only ever been found a few times. This specimen comes from finds in 2015. There is a small abrasion on the main display face which does not really bother me on this specimen.
