Cobaltoan Calcite on Matrix, Mashamba West Mine, DR Congo

The specimen is made up of a deposit of cobalt bearing calcite crystal on a host matrix of malachite with kolwezite. The main cobaltoan calcite measures 2.4cm with a light pink colour. The termination has a very minor abrasion on the back.
