The specimen has euhedral crystals of dioptase deposited on a shallow botryoidal epimorphic crust of shattuckite. The translucent dioptase is a little muted as the crystal surfaces are not super shiny. The shattuckite has good kingfisher blue colour. The dioptase to 0.8cm.
