The specimen is a small intergrown cluster of dioptase crystals. the dioptase have inverse cavities where likely calcite crystals have dissolved away. There is a residual piece of calcite trapped in a negative space. The small specimen makes a good display piece with the main crystal to 2.2cm standing proud.
