Smoky Quartz , Steinkopf, Northern Cape, South Africa

The specimen is a beautifully proportioned crystal of brown grey coloured smoky quartz. The termination planes are beautifully proportioned. Around the back and into the base of the crystyal there are some indents into the form where the crystal had grown up against other crystals but they had not fused.
