The specimen is made up of multiple intergrown crystals of quartz which have formed a cluster which is also healed on the under side. The quartz crystals are lustrous and glossy. Included in the quartz crystals are light phantoms of ajoite in a light turquoise colour. Also partially included in the surfaces of the quartz crystals here and there are epidote crystals.
