Fluorite Cluster

Fluorite Cluster

Okorusu Mine, Otjiwarongo, Otjozondjupa, Namibia

Size: 4.2 x 3.5 x 2.2 cm (Miniature)

The specimen consists of a cluster of medium coloured green cubic crystals of fluorite. The cubic crystals have a modified habit with the edges in stepped cubic structures. The green colour shifts towards transparencies of veridian. The fluorite crystals are zoned with four purple spots on each edge, I believe this is what is known from the dice pocket. The largest crystal here is 1.4cm on edge. There are a couple of cleaved crystals along the perimeter.
