The specimen has a violet coloured cubic crystal of fluorite on a matrix with quartz. The fluorite has a simple cubic habit with some minimal cubic steps. Just below the thinly veridian surface band of material lies an aligned purple phantom almost filling the cube to the brim. The crystal to 1.4cm on edge.
