Some of the world's finest hematite specimens are found at the Wessels Mine. This miniature features a 4.1cm scalenohedron with a few side car crystals. The hematite crystal has very sharp, metallic, highly lustrous faces and the classic steel-black color. The specimen has a couple of abrasions here and there but overall a presentable specimen.
