The specimen is a stepped plated marcasite structure. Well formed crystals of pyramidal interconnected growths have created an aggregate formation of brass coloured marcasite. There is a ledge at the foot of a roll of crystals and a pyramidal cluster of angular marcasite stands out on the ledge. On the underside the ledge is deposited of sphalerite and chalcopyrite.
