The shallow specimen has mimetite and phillipsbornite on a residual heavy iron rich matrix, the matrix has been sawn. The upper layer of the deposit has bright cadmium yellow crystals of mimetite. The crystals generally have a shallow hexagonal prismatic habit producing close to tabular hexes ontop of one another. Not all the mimetite are perfect but it is a very nice example mined by Spirifer Minerals.
