The specimen consists of a botryoidal formation of Mottramite 5.4cm across. The specimen has an overall olive green colour that is consistent with minor fluctuations towards darker olive green. The underside is hollowed out in contrast to the rounded botryoidal outer forms and the colour also is altered to a far lighter leaf green tinted by olive. The rounded botryoids form from small bladed crystals with a curved termination shaped like a scallop shell or a fan forming masses that at their intergrown level appear to grow randomly.
