Intergrown crystals of calcite grown over mottramite on a residue of matrix. The modified rhombic crystals of calcite with bevelled edges, the largest crystal 1.3cm across have intergrown and grown over mottramite. The mottramite is botryoidal as well as arborescent. A couple of the smaller calcite crystals have abrasions.
