The specimen has a rounded surface formation of olmiite that recedes in a cone shaped arrangement towards a hollow bowl off the core of an essentially radial spray of prismatic olmiite crystals. If one goes to the underside one appreciates the radial core. The convex termination surface has olmiite crystals with their terminations packed in together forming the surface. Olmiite crystals are four sided prismatic forms with something like a saddled form in the termination surface. The specimen has a grapefruit pink value with light from underneath.
