From finds in 2018, the year before the Skorpion Zinc Mine closed, this specimen is made up of a deposit of Quartz drusy over Chrysocolla on Malachite on a big sized wedge shaped matrix. The colour of the turquoise chrysocolla comes through the fine grained Quartz drusy. The chrysocolla has also formed botryoids with some slight mounds too. The matrix is chunky but it also provides for some nice display angles. On the sides one can see hetaerolite and malachite botryoids too.
