The specimen has shattuckite in three little bits grown over with clear quartz. The quartz is clear allowing one to view through the quartz onto the botryoidal curve of acicular shattuckite. The shattuckite blue through the quartz is very impressive. The quartz itself presents a sequence of twinning forms including a twinned termination.
