This specimen displays an epimorphic impression where material has dissolved from its original location, leaving a mould of a space or cavity within a massive calcite and quartz formation. Some residual quartz debris remains attached. It is a shattuckite epimorph with a botryoidal plancheite core from Kaokoveld. The evidence of epimorphism is visible, with cast shattuckite and botryoidal shattuckite in cavities.
