The thumbnail specimen has rhodochrosite with some stray tiny shigaite crystals. The rhodochrosite has priamtic hexagonal pyramidal crystals. The shigaite has hexagonal plated tablets if one takes the micro view. The rhodochrosite crystals are transparent light pink with a concentration of darker transparent frosty colour towards the terminations.
