Lovely golden yellow disc of Sturmanite has been deposited on a host matrix. This specimen consists of a 16mm flat disc shaped Sturmanite crystal with good lustre which has been deposited on a host matrix. Lovely aesthetics over all, such large Sturmanite are not common. There is some minor abrasions on the crystal edges which I noticed while looking at this under the microscope. These were found in March of 2005, I remember seeing flats of these at the time, my only regret was not buying more:).
