The specimen is made up of a deposit of calcite crystals intergrown with one another on a thin host matrix. The calcite crystals have a light canary yellow colour in a modified crystal habit. The calcite are nicely clear too. A couple of minor abrasions here and there but overall a very cute thumbnail in my opinion.
