The specimen has small stacked crystal forms made up out of very shallow tabular rhombic crystals stacked one on top of another, like a small pile of crumpets. These formations have slightly arched convex top and their tabular habit revealed on the edges stacked one ontop of another. The calcite has a deep rose pink colour toned by a charcoal grey inclusion. The specimen is overall a triangular shape.
