The specimen has a simple configuration of three crystals, small, medium and large of tourmaline variety, elbaite. The primary crystal is elongate with vertical striations. The two attached crystals are not penetrating but have impeded or taken up some growth space creating minor modified alterations to the overall form. A very nice old specimen.
