N'Chwaning II Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape, South Africa
Size: 5.3 x 3.1 x 1.8 cm (Small Cabinet)
From finds in January 1999 the specimen is made up of fine pseudo-octahedral pagoda-shaped crystals of hausmannite up to 0.7cm which have grouped together on the top part of a more or less triangular matrix. The matrix is covered with small light red andradite garnets.
