Hemimorphite

Hemimorphite

Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Mfouati District, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo

Size: 6.8 x 2.9 x 3.2 cm (Small Cabinet)

The specimen has a narrow lateral spread formation or point formation grown over with trees of hemimorphite crystals. The rounded tree formations are the result of full circle radial growth of tabular crystals of hemimorphite branches. They havee a rugged crystalline profile. Here and there their group or cluster colouration aspires to a pale blue. A very nice specimen.
