The specimen is made up almostly purely of rhodochrosite with some matrix attached here and there and only on one side. The specimen is two sided with each side of the specimen presenting a different pink colour variation. On the one side the crystals are made up of rhombic crystals with a slight twist and and the colour is pink-grey and also the crystals are smaller than the opposite side. On the oppositre side the colour is a much more vibrant pink and also the crystals are rhombic and intergrown but the crystals are larger. This side is also the side with some remnants of matrix attached.
