The specimen has smoky quartz on schorl on feldspar with a small single crystal of topaz sitting on the feldspar. The little topaz measures 0.4cm and has a classic topaz brilliance. The main feature of the specimen has blocky trigonal mirror schorl crystals, bright shiny reflective black standing out against the stained feldspar.
