The specimen has a set of three twinning crystals of prismatic hexagonal calcite. Overall there is twinning. The base of the prisms is cleaved, but the tapering terminations are elongate creating a towering aesthetic with all of the crystal planes aligned forming a unified pyramidal pointed form within the hex.
