Calcite, Ettringite on Brucite

The specimen has ettringite with calcite on a matrix of brucite. The matrix includes a shallow recess that extends laterally into a deep cavity. The cavity includes an impressive spray of euhedral ettringite crystals opening onto a ledge and sweeping around onto another side packed with ettringite. The combination of canary yellow ettringite with the pale blue green brucite creates an attractive colour presence. The ettringite measure from small to 1.2cm. The ettringite do have some abrasions.
