The specimen is a self standing specimen made up of ettringite deposited onto a matrix of brucite. The ettringite is deposited on both sides of the brucite matrix which is self standing too. The ettringite is more promenant on one side in a fine grained drusy and small prismatic hexagonal crystals. The brucite has a well defined crystal form which is uncommon. There are a couple of abrasions here and there.
