A lovely specimen here which is made up of a deposit of celestine with calcite on a host matrix. The celestine crystals are tabular with a chisel termination and in a soft pale blue grey colour. The celestine crystals come off the matrix and measure to 1.4cm. The matrix is also covered in small scalene crystals of milky calcite. There are a couple of abrasions here and there.
