Sugilite is a rare complex lithium silicate and is a member of the osumilite group. Most specimens are massive and make very colorful lapidary material. This specimen is made up of deposits of fine acicular crystals of pink sugilite which have formed masses of brightly coloured sugilite on both sides. From finds in 2015.
