The specimen is made up of a deposit of olmiite on one side of a calcite crystal cluster. The calcite has a pale tan colour to it from the backing of the olmiite deposite. The calcite has a good lustre with multiple faces and terminations. There are a few abrasions on the calcite. The olmiite are small and gemy quality under the microscope.
